Secure reSources, Study, Search/reSearch, Surf the Sites
The internet is a vast library and social network. Surfing the net may even lead to reading a book or starting a conversation in person. We are still figuring out how online resources complement or supplant print media of books, magazines and newspapers; how virtual community improves the quality of life with people who share actua space, and not just cyberspace.

Computers and online resources can facilitate our study and research. You are reading on a computer screen this very moment! Now, how can you share what you find online and interact with othes in your local community?

Wisdom SOURCES for intelligent understanding
open books
...open minds
The death notice of book culture is premature. Books are being published, borrowed, and passed around. Reading by this traditional and highly portable media requires no electricity in daylight hours. Many kinds of information once printed are better managed and updated in digital format. But nothing beats a book for content that requires a reader's self-pacing and reflection.

Every community has hidden libraries. RCW is finding many in Portage County, offering online catalogues of resources in homes, churches and agencies. Readers unite and rally around your passion! Join the effort and meet companions on the path of lifelong learning.

Audio Tapes, VHS and Beta video tapes, vinyl LP Albums. What to save? What to transfer to digital? Not everyone can afford the latest media. There's still a place for these older storage systems.
Are we living in a second oral culture, still a literate culture, a combination? Person to person what are we? Share your thoughts.
